Trying To Conceive

The TTC journey often turns out to be a bitter sweet experience for most women

Trying to conceive or pre conception period as we gynaecologists call it. Identifying and dedicating a minimum of 6 months prior to pregnancy is crucially important to optimize health, nutrition and lifestyle. From running a set of fertility blood investigations to diagnose nutritional deficiencies to setting up a healthy exercise routine and trying to live a low-tox life, everything has its role in promoting a healthy egg and sperm! The healthier they are, the easier it is to conceive.

The TTC journey often turns out to be a bitter sweet experience for most women. Peer pressure to personal well being, everything has an influence on this exhilarating path. 6 months, is what we usually give my clients who reach out to us during this period. To work on their lifestyle, nutrition, relationship and emotional bonding with their partner. It may seem non conventional but when all of the above are in place, 90% of the fertility related issues are corrected. The remaining 10% need medical intervention in a holistic approach!

Now you may wonder our older generations passed this phase of life with ease, not requiring much of medical interventions, home births, multiple births when us, supposedly the advanced are finding it difficult to balance between career and get pregnant for once!

But did you give a thought about their lifestyle vs ours? And guess what that makes a difference!
